Hearts Fingerless Gloves Knitting Pattern

My Hearts Fingerless Gloves knitting pattern has just had a much needed update.  The original pattern was released in 2011 using a yarn that has been discontinued.  So, I’ve rewritten the pattern using yarn that is readily available – Rowan Felted Tweed DK!

I’m so thrilled with these new gloves and updating the pattern gave me the chance to improve the pattern notes and the colourwork chart.  On the chart, I’ve added where to wrap your yarns to keep your floats nice and neat – nobody likes messy floats!

The gloves are a slouchy, loose-fit and will fit an average adult female hand.  However, due to the loose-fit style these gloves would also fit an average adult male as a snug fit.  The gloves are worked flat on straight knitting needles with a bit of seaming to close up the fingers and side of the gloves.  There are one or two decrease stitches in the pattern but otherwise, just knits and purls.

The pattern along with the yarn you’ll need is available in my Love Crafts Designer Shop here*.

If you fancy making the gloves in different colours you’ll need two balls of Rowan Felted Tweed DK in two colours.  There’ll be enough yarn to make a second pair of gloves in reversed colours!

Happy Knitting!
