Another crochet pattern updated! This time I’ve updated my Petal Afghan Block crochet design. Its now available in both US and UK crochet terms and has been updated to include a chart.
These squares are great for afghans and throws and work up nice and quickly. They are fantastic for stash busting too! I can picture a blanket filled with these squares worked in all sorts of fabulous colours!
If you use Worsted weight (or Aran) yarn and a 5mm (H) size hook the squares will measure 5 inches. You can also use DK or Light Worsted too but the squares will turn out a tiny bit smaller. Remember to adjust your hook size to suit the yarn you are using – not all yarns are equal – always go with a hook size the ‘feels right’.
This pattern is FREE so download and get hooking! Don’t forget to share photos of your finished squares on Ravelry and Instagram (I’m @woolnhook) and anywhere else you can think of. I just lurve to see what folks make!
I wanna make a Petal Afghan Block…
It’s free to download on Ravelry in both UK and US terminology.
