For the ripple blanket crochet pattern you will need to know how to work in the round and basic crochet stitches. The pattern uses stitches worked through the back loops. You don’t have to do this if you find it a bit fiddly – it will look just as good if you work through the stitches normally.
You can make this blanket whatever size you and in whatever weight yarn you want so I’ve left out yardage information. I’ve given a very rough idea of how much yarn you’d need for a 5ft blanket in Light Worsted / DK weight yarn in the pattern notes.
The pattern is available in AMERICAN crochet terms. All of my patterns include an abbreviation list, stitch counts per row or round, explanation of special stitches if applicable, a US/UK stitch conversion list.
The PDF pattern can be downloaded once payment has been received. You will receive an email, to the email address you provide, with a download link. You can then choose to download the file in US or UK crochet terminology.
