The Mediterranean Summer CAL week 2 is out now! In week two we’ll be making little mini squares, joining them, then working in rows either side.
There are popcorn stitches, front post and back post stitches used this week. All the unusual stitches are fully explained, plus, keep on eye on my CAL page for a helpful video tutorials. In case you missed them, videos for week one are on my CAL page, and week two videos will be up in a few days.
The squares and bands will measure approximately 132cm x 50cm when finished. Blocking this section isn’t essential. We want the width of this weeks work to measure the same as the three squares we made in week one so, measure a week one square, times it by 3 and aim to have this weeks piece to measure the same. A little blocking can help if there is a bit of difference between the two.
If you don’t manage to finish this week – don’t panic! There should be time over the coming weeks to catch up!
