Indian Summer CAL for Deramores starts soon!

Oh my, I’m so excited!!!  Deramores asked me to design their official crochet along this year and I’ve been a bit overexcited ever since!  The Indian Summer CAL has been launched over on deramores.com and it will be starting very soon – eek!  Here it is – look!!

We’ll be using 21 balls of Deramores Studio DK yarn in 8 different colours including some of the delicious new shades: Gingerbread, Green Tea, Storm Cloud and Paprika.

You can grab your colour pack here on the Deramores website.

The design uses front post (US) / front raised (UK) stitches to add lots of texture.  There are some cluster stitches and a few popcorn stitches too.  We’ll also be working in front and back loops and through the horizontal bar.  If that all sounds too scary – don’t panic!  I’ve included lots of photos to help you through the trickier bits and I’m always here if you need a little extra help.

The CAL starts on 20th September and will run for 6 weeks so pencil it in your calendars!  The pattern will be available in both American and British crochet terminology.  It’s a written pattern with lots of photos.

Keep on eye on my blog and, of course, on Deramores for all the releases. You’ll find all the links over on my Indian Summer CAL page too which I’ll be updating each week.

Happy Hooking!

I’m looking forward to this and love your design. I’ve chosen some different colours to go with my bedroom and I’d like it bigger, so I’m using aran weight yarn and have bought some extra yarn so that I can add bits to the sides and ends if needed.

Hi Tracey, I don’t have video tutorials but the pattern has lots of photos to help you. If you get stuck just give me a shout and I’ll do my best to help. Many thanks, Leonie x
