February Shawl – triangular crochet shawl

February Shawl is my latest crochet pattern . Its a easy to make triangular crochet shawl worked in two colours and edged with a contrasting lacy trim.  I worked mine in two shades of grey and used hot pink and mustard as the contrasting colour for the two shawls I made.  I don’t know which one I prefer!

The yarn I used is Deramores Studio DK which is a gorgeous DK yarn.  There are two colour options to choose from: Raspberry (pictured above), and Mustard (pictured below).  However, it’s now tricky to get your hands on but you can use any similar DK weight acrylic yarn.

The pattern is very easy to crochet and would be suitable for fairly new crocheters.  All you need to know is basic crochet stitches and picot stitches.  When finished the triangular crochet shawl will measure 193 cm (76″) x 80 cm (32″) which is just perfect for wrapping yourself up in!
